Yatenga: The Basic Education District (CEB) of Oula 1 organized the 2nd edition of its day of excellence on October 25, 2025, to honor the educational community’s efforts and reward outstanding performances from the past school year, noted the AIB. The event took place at Boursouma “A” public primary school, with participation from administrative and traditional authorities, teachers, and students from Oula.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony featured speeches, gift presentations, school kits, bicycles for students, and certificates of recognition. Lassane Badini, inspector and head of the CEB of Oula 1, praised the dedication of teachers and encouraged students to embrace discipline, curiosity, and hard work. He referred to teachers as “silent builders of the Burkinabe nation.”
Ms. Antoinette Guingane/Ouedraogo, representing the provincial director of education, called on parents and partners to play a more active role in child education and supervision. She urged teachers to implement educational innovations as per the presidential initiative for education.
The event was sponsored by El Hadj Noufou Sawadogo, President of the Humanitarian Relief Organization in Burkina Faso. He expressed his appreciation for the educational community’s dedication and announced two scholarships for the best girl and boy in the 2025-2026 session of the CEP.
The ceremony concluded with shared satisfaction, presenting various awards: 18 students received school kits and bicycles, while outstanding teachers were given computers and certificates. The best associations of mother educators were awarded kitchen utensils.
