Boulgou: The Secretary General of the Boulgou province, Lall© Siaka Yao, installed, this Friday, August 22, 2025 in Tenkodogo, the social education advisor, Abdoulaye Soro. The handover of service between the outgoing provincial director in charge of humanitarian action, Karim Diallo, and the incoming social education advisor, Abdoulaye Soro, took place on Friday, August 22, 2025 in Tenkodogo.
According to Burkina Information Agency, in office since April 24, 2023, Mr. Diallo recalled having spent more than 2 years at the head of the provincial directorate in charge of national solidarity in Boulgou. He expressed his gratitude to the administrative, customary and religious authorities, the defense and security forces, as well as to NGOs and associations for their constant support. “I leave with the feeling of having given the best of myself for the well-being of the target populations,” he declared emotionally, before apologizing to those he may have offended during his mandate.
The outgoing provincial director urged his former colleagues to “keep the torch of professionalism and active solidarity burning” in order to meet the many challenges. Abdoulaye Soro gave thanks to God and thanked the Minister in charge of Humanitarian Action, Commander P©lagie Kabr©/Kabor©, for the trust placed in him. Referring to the minister’s remarks, he stressed that “humanitarianism is a state of mind, a vocation and a commitment to the service of the common good.”
Aware of the humanitarian emergencies linked to population displacement, Mr. Soro is committed to working towards social action based on transparency, equity and respect for human dignity. “One hand alone cannot pick up the flour,” he recalled, calling for unity among his colleagues and support from the authorities and partners. The Secretary General of Boulgou Province, Lall© Siaka Yao, congratulated the outgoing director for his leadership and encouraged the new head to consolidate the achievements.
The ceremony, marked by a strong mobilization of authorities, partners and active forces, was placed under the sign of recognition, solidarity and the call for unity to meet the humanitarian challenges in the province of Boulgou.
