High Commissioner Commends Dedication of Djibo Health Workers


Djibo: The High Commissioner of Soum Province, Wend N©r© Wilfrid Tougma, engaged in direct discussions with the health personnel of Djibo to commend their efforts in the local health sector. During the meeting, he acknowledged the resilience and courage of the healthcare workers in serving the population despite numerous challenges.



According to Burkina Information Agency, the meeting took place on Thursday, August 21, 2025, where health workers openly shared the difficulties they face, including security challenges, while fulfilling their duties. They expressed their unwavering commitment to their mission, emphasizing their dedication to serving the population with dignity and adherence to the medical oath.



The High Commissioner praised the determination and professionalism of the medical staff, recognizing their continuous service to the population despite various constraints. He assured them of the provincial authorities’ support and encouraged ongoing dialogue between health services and administrative authorities to collaboratively find effective solutions for the challenges faced.



This meeting is part of a broader initiative by Soum’s provincial authorities to enhance coordination of public actions, particularly in the health sector, which remains crucial under the current circumstances.
