Morocco: 207 billion dirhams of foreign investment in financial instruments in 2022

“At constant scope and prices compared to 2021, the amount of investment by foreigners and Moroccans living abroad would have reached 207 billion dirhams at the end of 2022, a level which is close to that recorded at the end of 2021 (209 billion dirhams)” indicates the Moroccan Capital Market Authority (AMMC) in its report on foreign investment in financial instruments.

The Authority also indicates that nearly half of the companies listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange are more than 10% foreign-owned.
