Nando Regional Council: Development Plan for 2026-2030 Under Debate


Koudougou: The governor of the Nando Adama region, Jean Yves B©r©, officially launched the process of developing his Regional Development Plan (PRD) for the period 2026-2030 in Koudougou on Friday, AIB noted.



According to Burkina Information Agency, the objective is to involve all stakeholders to ensure harmonious and sustainable development. The region’s chief executive, Mr. B©r©, emphasized the importance of an inclusive and participatory process. He encouraged the drafting committee to ensure that this PRD meets the deep aspirations of the population while respecting national guidelines.



The work schedule was presented by the Secretary General of the Regional Council, Judica«l Kafando, chair of the editorial committee. He detailed the key steps and methods for producing a consensual document that represents the region’s needs.



This new Plan is designed as an essential steering tool for the region. It will serve as a roadmap for Nando’s development over the next five years.



At the same time, the members of the ad hoc committee received specific training to help them fully play their role in this process.



The project benefits from the technical support of the General Directorate for Territorial Development (DGDT) and the Regional Directorate for the Economy and Planning (DREP). It is also financially supported by Swiss Cooperation, via CADEPAC, within the framework of the DEPAC 3 program.
